A Libyan Business Delegation will visit Belgium on 16 June 2023. On this occasion, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC), in collaboration with the Embassy of Libya in Brussels, BECI, and hub.brussels organise a business seminar followed by a networking lunch in presence of the Lybian Business Delegation.
This Business Forum is an opportunity for Belgian entrepreneurs to find out more about the various business opportunities offered by Lybia, and to know more about the actual situation in Libya.
A large number of reconstruction opportunities exist in Libya and Libyan authorities are actively looking for partners to open a new chapter of Belgo-Lybian economic and trade cooperation.
At the end of 2021, Libya ranked in the top 10 countries for globally proven oil and natural gas reserves, holding nearly 3 percent of these. In 2021, nearly 71 percent of Libya’s crude oil and condensate exports were imported by Europe (www.worldbank.org). Aside from the energy sector, has important infrastructure needs and also offers significant opportunities for businesses in the construction, transportation, healthcare, telecommunications, and tourism sectors.
The participants will have the chance to nurture relationships thanks to B2B Meetings with the members of the Libyan delegation.
